honored!

A new life came in to the world this weekend, and I am honored that the new mom and dad asked me to help! It wasn't a huge deal really, but still I was glowing with pride and excitement when dad-to-be asked me to come to the hospital on Saturday evening to keep mom-to-be company while he ran out to grab dinner. I was only in the hospital for a couple hours, but the trust they place in me is immense. I'm truely honored to have such close friends.

Labor lasted for a few hours after I left and a healthy baby boy was born early Sunday morning. Mom is tired, but doing great. Welcome to the world, little one!
